The Graduate Student Advisory Group (GSAG) is comprised of student representatives of each of the graduate degree programs at USI. The members of GSAG meet annually with the director of Graduate Studies to discuss issues specifically of interest to USI’s graduate students. The organization also solicits nominations of graduate students to serve on the Student Academic Grievance Committee and selects the graduate student representatives to the Committee.
GSAG gives graduate students a voice in the policies and procedures affecting their education. The director of Graduate Studies and the members of the Graduate Council are interested in a variety of activities conducted by all of the graduate programs, the quality of the programs, the well-being of the students, and the overall quality of graduate education at USI. The GSAG meeting provides an opportunity for graduate students to express their ideas and opinions about the academic and administrative policies affecting their programs.
