The Lilly Intellectual Capital Initiative funds two grant programs through the Graduate Studies Office for degree-seeking graduate students. Based on merit, these competitive student awards make funds available to support graduate students in independent faculty guided research efforts in all disciplines.
The Graduate Student Research Grant Program supports graduate students in independent faculty-guided research efforts in all disciplines. Click here for policy, guidelines, and application form. Deadline: the 8th Friday of fall and spring semesters.
The Graduate Student Travel Grant Program supports graduate student travel to conferences, meetings, exhibits, or performances where the student will present the results of a student project. Assistance up to $1000 will be provided to help defray the costs of travel, per diem, and registration. Click here for guidelines and application form. The deadline for submission is 2 weeks-2 months prior to travel.
