Student Academic Grievance Committee Student Nomination Solicitation

The Graduate Student Advisory Group annually solicits nominations from enrolled graduate students for selection of two students to the Student Academic Grievance Committee. To be eligible to serve, a student must

be admitted to a graduate program,
be enrolled in graduate program classes during the spring term,
have earned at least 6 graduate hours by the fall semester of the committee appointment,
have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher at the graduate level, and
be in good standing.

Committee appointments will be for one year, beginning in the fall and ending at the conclusion of the summer III term.

A complete description of the Academic Dishonesty Policy and Academic Affairs Student Grievance Procedure is located in its entirety on the web at www.usi.edu/stl/section_changes.asp. The section describing the committee selection and duties of the Student Academic Grievance Committee is Section 3.04 C.1.

Interested students should email, mail, or fax their application to the Graduate Studies Office by April 24. Specific submission instructions are included on the application form.
