USI’s Office of Student Financial Assistance provides information on all types of financial assistance available to graduate students at USI, including employment, scholarships, grants, and loans. Graduate Assistantships are one form of financial aid targeted to eligible graduate students. The assistantships waive instructional fees and pay wages while graduate students gain valuable work experience. To be eligible, a student must be admitted to a USI graduate program and be in good academic standing. View the Graduate Assistantship policy (Microsoft Word doc) and, if eligible and interested, submit a Graduate Assistantship Application.
Apply early. Applications must be filed with the Office of Graduate Studies and approved by the appropriate Director or Dean by August 1 for the fall semester, December 1 for the spring semester, and May 1 for the summer terms.
