AWARD FOR CHAPTER CHAPTER EXCELLENCE

The 2012 ACE is structured around the Fraternity/Sorority Life Pillars of Excellence: Scholarship, Leadership, Philanthropy/Service, Brotherhood/Sisterhood, and Growth. Chapters may apply for recognition for any or all Pillar Categories. In addition, chapters can apply for recognition in a sixth category: Foundations (or Chapter Management).

Chapters may receive recognition in individual Pillar Categories in the form of “Excellence Awards”. These awards will be evaluated individually. Chapters who apply for all five (5) Pillar Categories and the Foundation Category will be eligible to receive the “Award for Chapter Excellence”. The program is designed to promote excellence in all chapters but most importantly recognize chapters for the great things they do.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

All nominations for Individual Awards must be submitted through OrgSync Forms. Any member of the Fraternity/Sorority Community can make a nomination.
It is highly encouraged that members of the community consider nominating members outside of their chapter.

One (1) Fraternity Member and One (1) Sorority Member will be recognized in each of these categories:

· Outstanding New Member

· Outstanding Chapter Officer

· Outstanding Chapter President

· Outstanding Chapter Advisor

· Outstanding Greek of the Year

· Lifetime Achievement Award

One (1) Member of the USI Fraternity/Sorority Community will be recognized in each of these categories:

· Greek Unity

· Outstanding School Spirit

· Fraternal Values Award (NEW in 2012)

CHAPTER AWARDS (NEW IN 2012)

All nominations for Chapter Awards must be submitted through OrgSync Forms. Nominations should be based on activity completed in 2011.
Nominations can ONLY come from other chapters.
Internal nominations will NOT be accepted.
