About the Program


The College of Nursing and Health Professions offers a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree. The majority of the program is completed online. There are three required intensives scheduled to complement the online learning. These intensive meetings are scheduled for August (2 ½ days), January (2 days), May (1 ½ days). The intensive meetings are held on the USI campus and are extremely interactive in nature involve student presentations, leaderships exercises, and networking opportunities. Students can complete the 39 credit hour program in six semesters.

Program Mission


The mission of the MHA program is to educate students for leadership roles in health care. Graduates will use evidence-based decision making to assure integrity and organizational success. As leaders, they will strive to provide high quality, cost effective, and accessible health care in their communities.
