The USI Doctor of Nursing Practice program received initial five year Commission for Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation. The accreditation status is retroacted to the site visit which was held in April 2011.
Dr. Ann White, Associate Dean stated "We are very excited to receive word of this accreditation, this means that our first graduating class can document that they are graduates of an accredited DNP program. The success of our DNP program is due to the dedicated efforts of students and faculty, and our community support."
