Application and Selection Process

The Occupational Therapy Program invites a maximum of 30 qualified students to begin taking the professional undergraduate coursework each Fall Semester. The final decision of admission to the OT Program will be determined by faculty.

To apply, a student must:

Applications for admission to the BS/MSOT professional program are accepted from January 15th though February 15th each calendar year for students hoping to be invited to start the professional undergraduate coursework the Fall Semester of that calendar year. Specific information regarding the selection process for a given year is posted each November on the Occupational Therapy Program's Website (http://health.usi.edu/acadprog/ot/default.asp).

A student can be in the process of taking prerequisite courses when application is made. However, as of January 2012 an invited student must complete all prerequisite coursework with a grade of C or better by the conclusion of the spring semester prior to beginning the BS/MSOT professional coursework.

Applicant Administration

To apply:
  1. Complete the USI OTP BS/MSOT Application (no letter is required)
  2. Complete, based on your previous coursework, the USI OTP Prerequisite Audit Form. Fill in all appropriate fields.

Apply to the Occupational Therapy Program for the 2012 academic year.
