Goals of this orientation
The goals of this orientation / training resource are
to:
- Guide you through the process of getting started using technology as a USI faculty member, and helping you avoid potential pitfalls that interfere with the process of getting "up and running"
- Familiarize you with the quality standards, structure, look and feel, of the online and technology related portions of our teaching and learning environment
- Provide and familiarize you with the electronic communication tools that will allow you to easily communicate and collaborate with your students and colleagues.
- Familiarize you with instructional design and management tools that will allow you to construct extremely high quality learning experiences.
- Teach you to use available technologies to make your work as a USI faculty member efficient , productive, and satisfying
