1-31  Historic New Harmony Tours.  Guided walking tours offered daily at 10 a.m. & 2 p.m. Tours begin at the Atheneum/Visitors Center located at 401 N. Arthur Street. Phone: 812-682-4474, 800-231-2168. Atheneum/Visitors Center will be closed Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve Day & New Year's Day.

1-31     New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art exhibit featuring Dan Brawner, Roger Clayton, Alexis Holeman, and Griffin Norman. Exhibit runs now through December 31New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art, phone: 812-682-3156, www.nhgallery.com

1-27       Women's Institute and Gallery exhibit featuring Mary and William Eimer, "William and Mary". This show will continue until January 31, 2010.

5-6       Christmas in New Harmony. Saturday, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday,  Noon – 5 p.m.  Downtown New Harmony.  Featuring music, food, crafts, photographs with Santa, shopping, a parade, and other special events throughout town. For more information visit www.newharmony.biz

5        Nutcracker performance by the Children's Center for Dance Education at Murphy Auditorium, 3:00 p.m.  For more information visit www.childdance.org

6        Signature School Christmas Concert at Thrall's Opera House.

12        New Harmony Holiday Ball sponsored by Tri-Kappa.  Enjoy dancing and refreshments at this annual holiday ball that raises funds for local non-profit organizations.  Held at Thrall’s Opera House.

13    Ford Home open house

31     New Year's Eve dance at Ribeyre Gym.
