Heritage Artisans Week April 21-25, 2009 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily, Atheneum Visitors Center, $10, $9 AAA members and seniors, $5 children, children 6 and under free. Annual celebration of 19th century crafts, featuring more than 20 authentic demonstrators with programs for children and adults. Special programs available for schools.
Elderhostel October 5-9, 2009. Historic New Harmony offers four days of historic tours, educational lectures, and social activities as part of this international travel program.

Traditional Fourth of July Celebration July 4, 2009. Featuring patriotic speeches, music, and a community picnic at the Atheneum/Visitors Center at 10 a.m. and Maclure Park.
ArchiCamp July 23, 2009. A one day camp for children ages 8-12 years. Learn about architecture and create your own building.
Kunstfest September 19-20, 2009. Held throughout downtown New Harmony. Featuring traditional German crafts, music, and food celebrating the Harmonist settlers.
New Harmony Cultural Towns Symposium will be held November 11-13, 2009 with presentations and symposium events throughout New Harmony. The three day symposium will focus on "Cultural Towns." This event is a gathering of national and international architects, planners and theorists, with a focus on small towns that emphasize their cultural resources.
Christmas In New Harmony December 5-6, 2009. Featuring music, food, crafts, photographs with Santa, shopping, a parade, and other special events throughout town.
Holiday Ball December 12, 2009. Enjoy dancing and refreshments at this annual holiday ball that raises funds for local non-profit organizations.
