Harmoniefest
  February13, 2009 Thrall’s Opera House. Celebration of Harmonie Society’s founding featuring a pitch-in dinner and  guest speaker. For more information, please call 812-682-4488.

Heritage Artisan Week  April 21-25, 2009 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily, Atheneum Visitors Center,  $10, $9 AAA members and seniors, $5 children, under 7 free. Annual celebration of 19th century crafts, featuring more than 20 authentic demonstrators with programs for children and adults. Special programs available for schools. 

Elderhostel  June 15-19. 2009 Historic New Harmony offers four days of historic tours, educational lectures, and social activities as part of this international travel program. 

Summer Hat Luncheon  June 18, 2009 at the Rapp-Owen Granary, 413 Granary St. Benefit supporting Historic New Harmony projects. For tickets or more information 812-682-4488.

Traditional Fourth of July Celebration  July 4. Featuring patriotic speeches, music, and a community picnic at the Rapp-Owen Granary at 10 a.m. and Maclure Park.

ArchiCamp  July 10, 2008 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. A one day camp for children ages 8-12 years. Learn about architecture and create your own building. 

Wabash Heritage Paddle Fest  August 16, 2008. Featuring a 9.7 mile, family-oriented canoe float, festive foods and beverages, and music on the lawn of the Atheneum/Visitors Center. 

Kunstfest  September 20-21, 2008. Held throughout downtown New Harmony.  Featuring traditional German crafts, music, and food celebrating the Harmonist settlers.

A Walk Into the Past  October 25, 2008. Spirits in Harmonie  November 29, 2008. Sponsored by Historic New Harmony, 6:30-11 p.m., Atheneum/Visitors Center, New Harmony, IN, $30 day of; $25 in advance; $22.50 for seniors/AAA in advance.  Sample hand-crafted beers, ciders, and wines at various historic sites. Live music, festive foods, and unique shopping will be available at several of the venues. 800-231-2168
