Historic New Harmony conducts guided walking tours, March 15 through October 31, at 10:00 am & 2:00 pm. Tours begin at the Atheneum/Visitors Center and Museum Shop which is open daily, 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. Group tours are also available.

Thrall’s Opera House is the site of this celebration of the Harmonie Society’s founding. Featuring a pitch-in dessert bar and musical entertainment. Entertainment this year will include dance calling by Jonathan Sivier and music by the Bloomington duo Entwyned. Mr. Sivier has researched and reconstructed dances from New Harmony in the 1820s. Add festive cheer to the holiday season by attending New Harmony’s Holiday Ball at Thrall’s Opera House, 8-11 pm. The Tri-State’s own Temple Airs big band will perform Christmas music and tunes of the 30s and 40s. Refreshments will be served and there will be an open dance floor. Sponsors include the Kappa Kappa Kappa Beta Chapter and Historic New Harmony. Advance tickets are $15 per person; $20 at the door. Advanced tickets are available at the Antique Showrooms in the Mews, New Harmony.
