Under the Beams is an annual subscription concert season offered in the beautiful surroundings of the Rapp-Owen Granary. Internationally acclaimed artists perform in the soaring second level under the beautiful beamed ceiling.

2009 Schedule:
January 24: Gary Hardy & Memphis 2-- Take a historical tour through the music that Memphis. From Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Roy Orbison to Elvis Presley, Gary Hardy brings the music and stories to life Entertaining and educational! Historic New Harmony offers afternoon group tours before each concert.
February 21: The Elektra Ensemble--Join cellist, Melissa Morgan, pianist, Melody Fader, and violinist, Brunilda Myftaraj, for an evening of classical music not often heard, including that of living composers. They'll add a sprinkling of Mendelssohn for good measure. An Elektra-fying evening of great music!
March 14: The Lovell Sisters-Three lovely sisters, Rebecca, Megan and Jessica, all classically trained, bring their love of another genre-bluegrass-to our stage. Their talents abound for an evening of energy, tight musicianship and family harmony.
April 4: Speak Easy Swing Band- One of Chicago's premier swing bands, this seven piece "big band" will have you in the mood to dance as vocalist Steve Biossat leads and croons to some all time favorites of the era. A musical journey through the time when "jazz was the tune and swing was the rule!"
