2018 Homecoming Court

Katelyn Bueltel
Katelyn Bueltel is a Business Administration major. Katelyn has served as a Student Ambassador, AMIGO, Morale Leader for SIDM, and the President of the Student Government Association. She is also an active member of the Student Alumni Association and Gamma Phi Beta. Katelyn plans to graduate in the spring of 2019.


Zach Price
Zach Price is a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity and Student Alumni Association. He served on the executive board of Southern Indiana Dance Marathon including as president in 2017. He volunteers with Volunteer USI and Special Olympics. After graduation, Zach hopes to earn his MBA and pursue a career in nonprofit work.



Heather Gore
Heather Gore is double majoring in Dental Hygiene and Health Services. Heather is the Vice President of SADHA, a member of SIDM, participate, and was a member of the AMIGO team for her first two years at USI. Heather tutors four subjects in Academic Skills. Heather plans to graduate in the spring of 2019.


Sebastian Sturgeon
Sebastian Sturgeon is a communications studies major and minor in business administration. He is a Senior Resident Assistant, brother of Lambda Chi Alpha, and adviser of the O’ Daniel South Area Council. After graduation, Sebastian plans to establish a career as a small business start-up.

Ashlyn Jones

Ashlyn Jones is a "Senior" but will enjoy a victory lap next year to finish her Mathematics Teaching degree! Ashlyn is a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha, Student Government Association, and a new member of the Optimist Club.



Jonathan Thomas

Jonathan Thomas is a senior Science Teaching (Biology) major with a minor in psychology. He is currently a returning AMIGO. He is Student Ambassador who loves sharing an inordinate amount of puns on campus tours. Jonathan is also a proud member of Lambda Chi Alpha where he has served as the President and the Risk Management chair. Jonathan plans to graduate in December 2018.

Zoe Kaufman
Zoe Kaufman is a nursing student with a psychology minor. Zoe serves as an Honors Student Council Member, Student Ambassador, and returning Resident Assistant for the Honors Apartments. She works as a student nurse. When not studying or hosting RA programs, she can be found teaching three-year-olds how to dance at a local studio!


Joel Tschite
Joel Tshite, a first-generation college student studying Engineering. Joel grew up in Zimbabwe. At USI, he is involved as a secretary and co-founder of the African Culture Club, an SGA court justice member, Executive Board Member of USI’s Chapter of the NAACP. After graduation, Joel plans to pursue Higher Education and help uplift people’s lives in his home country.


Anjali Patel

Anjali Patel has had the privilege of serving as an executive member of several campus organizations including Student Ambassador Organization, Timmy Global Health, and Dance Marathon. Anjali is also a resident assistant and the student appointee to the USI Board of Trustees. Upon graduating from USI, Anjali plans to attend medical school.




Kolten Turner

Kolten Turner is a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Kolten is involved in Chi Alpha as the Treasurer of the organization. This past summer Kolten was accepted into the Technology Commercialization Academy where he worked to develop his own product and assist other people with their projects.

 

Sydney Welch
Sydney Welch is a senior Radio/TV Broadcasting major with a minor in Marketing. While at USI, Sydney has been a Senior Resident Assistant, a member of the National Residence Hall Honorary, Student Ambassador, Emerging Leader Mentor, and Camp Eagle Leader.

Derek Welp
Derek Welp is a junior Marketing major. Derek has served in leadership roles within is fraternity as the Secretary and the Ritual Chairman. Derek has also been an AMIGO and a member of PRSSA. He also spends time giving back to the community by supporting local Special Olympics chapter in Evansville.
