Honors Housing

Freshmen in the Honors Program may choose to live in a special living-learning community (LLC) in the residence hall. Students live on the same floor with other Honors students and take a cluster of three classes together. The LLC helps students get to know others with similar interests and interact more closely with faculty. Special activities such as trips and volunteer experiences are planned to help the students learn and grow. Students living on the same floor find it easy to get together to study or enjoy campus and community activities. Students living on this floor will grow to be active in the Evansville and USI communities.

“The Honors LLC has so much to offer! It allows us to take challenging courses together and work to achieve a common goal. Since we live together, we get to know each other outside the classroom, which leads to a comforting environment in class. I can't imagine my college experience without the Honors LLC.”

“Living in the Honors LLC gives us the opportunity to be around other people with whom we can both study and have fun. We can easily study together for the classes in which we are all enrolled. The ability to discuss common interests and classes make the friendships I've made much stronger”
