Hiring for 2014-15 Fall/Spring Semesters
Housing and Residence Life is hiring students to work the mailroom as well as the front desk in the main housing office. Job duties include sorting mail, delivering mail to residence halls and community center, logging packages and sending email notifications to residents. In addition, the student assistant will sit at the front desk to answer inquiries from students, parents, and staff via phone and in person. Also, will assist with other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates must be able to work both day and evening shifts (fall/spring). In addition, must be able to work one or two weekends each semester. Housing hours of operation during fall/spring semesters are Monday-Friday, 8am-midnight and Saturday-Sunday, noon-midnight.
Pay rate is $7.25 per hour with 10-12 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and must maintain that during employment with Housing and Residence Life
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must be dependable and honest
