Senior Counselor, Student Financial Assistance - A09027A1
Full-time Administrative position in the Office of Student Financial Assistance to coordinate financial assistance programs while adhering to federal, state and University regulations. This position demonstrates leadership within the department through supervising and responding to inquiries about various SFA programs. Additional responsibilities include advising and providing students, parents and other interested parties with information regarding student financial assistance. Bachelor's degree with three to five years experience in student financial assistance or higher education required. Proficiency with microcomputers-word processing, spreadsheet, database, electronic mail, presentation, Internet software required, and technical competency for exporting/importing database files to appropriate software required. Knowledge of SCT Banner and Cognos report writing software a plus. Knowledge of federal tax rules applicable to student financial aid processing and the ability to research federal and state policies, rules, and regulations to ensure student financial aid compliance. Strong organizational, time management, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and the demonstrated ability to research and solve complex regulatory issues required. Two full-time administrative positions responsible for promoting individual student development through management of a residential area of approximately 600 students. This is a live-in position. Responsibilities include: serve in an on-call rotation; interpret and enforce campus housing and University policies; maintain and supervise the area facilities; participate in and chair departmental divisional committees; recruit, select, train, and supervise paraprofessional staff. Provost and Vice President, Academic Affairs - A09024A1

Background and Position: The University was established in 1965 as a branch campus of Indiana State University with a regional mission, in response to a need for public higher education in southwestern Indiana. As the chief academic officer of the University, the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs provides administrative leadership and oversight for all academic and operational components of the University, and serves as the chief executive officer in the President's absence. Advisor, University Division - A09022A1
Full-time administrative position responsible for assisting students in developing relationships and university connections through academic advising and teaching. The University Division Advisor's primary responsibility is to advise undecided and conditionally admitted students in the development and completion of their academic and career goals at the University of Southern Indiana. The University Division Advisor will also teach one or more sections of Freshman Seminar, Career Planning, and/or College Study Strategies each semester as needed. The University Division Advisor also supports the persistence, retention, and educational success of students.
