Falls of the Ohio State Park


Interpretive Center (museum) on the Ohio River, across from Louisville, KY, overlooking two hundred acres of Devonian Fossil Beds, historic Conrail Railroad Bridge and McAlphine Dam. The 16,000 square foot educational facility includes a stunning lobby diorama, an auditorium, exhibit hall, wildlife observation room and observation deck with a spectacular view of the Falls.

Days of The Week Open: Seven days a week. Closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas
Site Hours: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Saturday; 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday
Regular Admission Fees:: $4 for adults/$1 children (ages 2-18)
Educational Admission Fees: $1 each, free to chaperons
Number of People The Site Can Accommodate: Up to 150, call well in advance to register
Handicapped Accessible: Building fully accessible, ramp to upper fossil beds
Other Services Available: Special programs for schools and organized groups
