Branham Tavern, the oldest standing structure in Corydon was built in 1800, possibly by William Henry Harrison and Harvey Heth as a survey office while laying out the town of Corydon. The building was purchased by William Branham around 1808 who ran a tavern from the site. The building has also been a Presbyterian Manse as well as a private dwelling, and way a stop on the Underground Railroad during the Civil War.
