The Courthouse, a Romanesque Revival structure with four corner towers, framing four entrances, was built in 1884 of Bedford Oolitic limestone, pressed brick, and terra cotta, with pine gutters and window sases, and a slate roof with copper flashing. A clock which stand 86 feet above the roof entrances. Original oak counters and European mosaic diamond tile flooring are still in use on the first and second floors.
