The Washington County Historical Society has one of the largest genealogical libraries in southern Indiana. The main floor of the museum contains material from Washington County families. The second floor is a Victorial home display. The society also owns a pioneer village and the home where John Hay was born. A Children's room is located in the basement. Replica of railroad depot and train exhibit.
