George Rogers Clark National Historic Park


The granite, limestone, andmarble Clark Memorial commemorates George Rogers Clark's capture of Fort Sackville from theBritish on February 25, 1779, during the American Revolution. Clark's success contributed ot England's cession to the Untied States of the land north of the Ohio River--land then known as the Northwest Territory.

Handicapped Accessible: The visitor center and the park grounds are accessible. Memorial is not accessible.
