The Old Cathedral Library and Musuem is the oldest library in Indiana. It was established in 1794 by Rev. Benedict Joseph Flaget, who later was bishop of Bardstown, Kentucky. The library contains 7000+ books that were brought to Vincennes by it sfirst bishop, Bishop Brute.
