About USI Identity

The University of Southern Indiana delivers a high-value education in a vibrant, academic environment that prepares students to lead, serve, and live wisely in a global community. We offer the advantages of a large university in a collaborative, friendly campus environment. Our faculty is committed to each student’s success, and we actively partner with businesses to enrich the community and drive economic growth.

This distills into the core of a new identity initiative for USI which is "Get the Edge." This initiative builds on the many ways that students, alumni, faculty, businesses and community will "Get the Edge" through their relationships and experiences with USI. The red triangle which comes from the "I" of USI's logo is the appropriate icon to illustrate that "Edge."

Established USI identity standards ensure a continuity of message and style, both visual and written. While each unit of the University has its own personality, there is a fundamental credibility gained from being part of the "whole." Combining the USI logo with the "Get the Edge" element will further strengthen the brand core that you "Get the Edge" with USI.
