internet access in housing Housing and Residence Life - The University provides a high-quality, affordable living environment which is culturally enriching and committed to the academic success of the approximately 2,800 students who live in the Housing and Residence Life facilities.  Housing facilities include the Joseph E. O’Daniel Apartments south of Clarke Lane and the Frank F. McDonald Apartments north of Clarke Lane.  New this year is the Residence Life Community Center located in the heart of the apartment area.  This state of the art building features a large common living room, expanded convenience store with pizza delivery, wireless internet and laundry room.  Four suite-style residence halls, Newman Hall, Governors Hall, O’Bannon Hall, and Ruston Hall, offer incoming freshmen a more traditional campus living environment, with much of the privacy and convenience offered in the apartments.  Ruston Hall houses USI’s seven living-learning communities exclusively for first-year students. New this year is the Sophomore Year Experience Living-Learning Community where students can extend or join a living-learning community within the apartment areas.

The academic year housing cost for a student in a two-bedroom unit is $3,450, in a one-bedroom unit, the per-student cost is $4,168.  The basic meal plan is $3,25s0 (Blue Eagle Meal Plan).
