Guidelines For Extablishing An International Partnership

International Exchange Partnership Proposal Form

General guidelines for establishment of new exchange programs:

  • Strategic partnerships
  • Proposals must be supported by Department Chair and Dean of the College
  • Terms of Memorandum of Understanding should include specific dates (usually 3 years) with guidelines for Renewal/Termination of agreement.
  • Termination of exchange agreement if no activity within an agreed upon time frame (recommend 1 or 2 years).

The International Advisory Committee, appointed by the president, advises the Assistant Provost of the Center for International Programs and periodically reviews policies and matters concerning recruitment, retention, services, and exchange programs. The committee consists of the Assistant Provost of the Center for International Programs (chair), the director of the International Studies Program, one faculty member from each academic college plus an additional faculty member from the Modern and Classical Languages Department, the director of Admissions, and a student representative recommended by the Assistant Provost of the Center for International Programs.
