Intensive English Program


Placement and Testing


A placement test will be administered to every new student to determine the appropriate level of instruction. We are using the CaMLA placement test.

During the first week of class, instructors may make recommendations for placement adjustment based on student's performance in classes.

In order to pass to the next level or graduate, students need to achieve overall:

- 70% in preparatory level and level 1
- 75% in levels 2 and 3
- 80% in levels 4,5, and 6

If a student fails one class within a level, he or she will need to repeat the whole level.

Students graduating from the IEP program will receive a certificate of completion and will be able to pursue their future interests.
