USI Policy and Procedures
The University of Southern Indiana encourages student and faculty participation in University sponsored international activities. The Office of Academic Affairs, appropriate deans, academic department chairs, and program directors are responsible for ensuring the academic integrity of such activities. The offices of International Programs and Services, Travel Services, and Risk Management assist the program director in ensuring that student and faculty travel and temporary residence for such activities meet personal safety standards and are accurately documented.
All international study and travel programs conducted in the name of USI and/or by a USI faculty member must be approved by the provost and vice president for Academic Affairs. All program proposals and supporting documentation will be reviewed by the associate vice president for Academic Affairs for noncredit programs or the assistant vice president for Academic Affairs for credit programs and the provost.
