USI Institutional Snapshot - 2007 Year in Review

Mission

The Office of Institutional Research assists the executive and administrative offices of the University in broad-based assessment activities in order to promote increased institutional effectiveness and efficiency. The office provides data, information, and analytical reports on institutional research topics designed to promote and improve the use of information and data in the University's ongoing planning, decision-making, and decision-making processes. Institutional Research activities provide systematic collection and reporting mechanisms for standard institutional, regional, and environmental information to support the university's assessment activities. Institutional Research assists in the evaluation of program implementation activities resulting from accreditation reviews.
