Student Organization Academic Achievement Award

 

Description of the Award The Student Organization Academic Achievement award is given in each of the following (5) five categories of organization type: 1. Honorary 2. Professional 3. Service 4. Social 5. Special Interest The student organization in each category with the highest average cumulative GPA will receive the award.

The winner of the 2005 Student Organization Academic Achievement Award for social organizations was Student Ambassadors.

Eligibility criteria for 2008 
Any student organization registered with the Office of Student Development Programs at the University of Southern Indiana may apply for this award.  Organizations must have at least 15 members on their roster and must list all members' names and social security numbers on the Academic Achievement Award form.

Applications - Available January 22, 2008 and due March 3, 2008
Organizations applying for the Student Organization Academic Achievement award must submit one (1) copy of the following:

Recognition of Award
Organizations selected to receive the award will receive recognition at the Student Leadership Awards and Recognition program on April 16, 2008.
