Student Organization Academic Achievement Award

 

Description of the Award The Student Organization Academic Achievement Awards is given in each of the following (5) five categories of organization type: 1. Honorary 2. Professional 3. Service 4. Social 5. Special Interest The student organization in each category with the highest average cumulative GPA will receive the award.

The winner of the 2008 Student Organization Academic Achievement Award for social organizations was Student Ambassadors.

Eligibility criteria for 2012
Any student organization registered with the Office of Student Development Programs at the University of Southern Indiana may apply for this award.  Organizations must have at least 15 members on their roster and must list all members' names and Banner ID or Date of Birth on the Academic Achievement Award form.

Applications- Available February  1, 2012 and are due February 29, 2012 Nominations for Student Organization Academic Achievement will be required to submit: - Organization Roster*

*Organizations applying for this award must submit an Excel file of members' First and Lame Names and the members' USI Student IDs (000........) or date of birth in three separate columns.

Recognition of Award
Organizations selected to receive the award will receive recognition at the Student Leadership Awards and Recognition program on April 18, 2012.
