Student Organization Advisor of the Year

Description of the Award
This award is to honor the student organization advisor who has demonstrated outstanding contributions with his/her time and expertise.

Eligibility criteria for 2008
Student organizations can nominate any individual who has volunteered his/her time to advise the organization outside of their regular duties at the University.

Applications - Available January 22, 2008 and due March 3, 2008
Students nominating an individual for the Student Organization Advisor of the Year award should submit eight (8) copies of the following:
- Nomination Form

The recommendation should address the following questions:
- What has the nominee done in an advisory capacity that makes him/her an exceptional advisor?
- In what ways has the nominee influenced the lives of students in the organization?

Recognition of Award
Students selected to receive the award will receive recognition at the Student Leadership Awards and Recognition program on April 16, 2008.
