

Outstanding Student Organization Award
| Description of the Award The Outstanding Student Organization award is presented to the organization that has made a significant impact on the University community and its members. Selection is based on demonstrated success in each of the following categories: - Membership and leadership development - Campus life enhancement - Service to the University and surrounding community - University involvement (i.e.: Homecoming, SGA, Student Involvement Fair, etc.) - Fulfillment of the organization’s mission/purpose |

Eligibility criteria
for 2009
Any student organization registered
with the Office of Student Development Programs at the University of
Southern Indiana may apply for this award. Organizations are eligible
to receive this award only once in five years.
Applications
- Available January 12, 2009 and due
March
2, 2009
Organizations applying for the Outstanding Student Organization award should
submit one (1) copy of the Organizational Portfolio. Utilize the following
guide in developing your portfolio:

Recognition of Award
Organizations selected to receive the award will receive recognition at the Student Leadership Awards and
Recognition program on April 15, 2009.
