Student Organization President of the Year

 

Description of the Award This award is to honor a student organization president who has shown exceptional commitment to his/her organization.  Qualified candidates will possess strong leadership skills, a high degree of integrity, and have had an overall positive impact on their organization. Eligibility criteria for 2009 Student organizations can nominate any student who was president of their organization during any portion of the 2008-2009 academic school year. Applications - Available January 12, 2009 and due March 2, 2009 Students nominating an individual for the Student Organization President of the Year award should submit seven (7) copies of the following: - Nomination Form

The president of the Activities Programming Board Adam Trinkel, was the 2008 Student Organization President of the Year.

The recommendation should address the following questions:
- What has the nominee done that has been innovative for your organization?
- What specific qualities does the nominee possess that makes him/her outstanding? 

Recognition of Award
Students selected to receive the award will receive recognition at the Student Leadership Awards and Recognition program on April 15, 2009.
