Alan Lightman presents "The Diagnosis"
Is our compulsion for speed, information, and money affecting our sense of intimacy and relationships? Alan Lightman gives his diagnosis on society.

Alan Lightman is a dual professor of science and humanities at MIT.  Also a featured author in this year's Bonding Through Books selection, This I Believe, Lightman examines our society and explores how the relentless pace of modern life affects us and our concept of identity.

Alan Lightman will speak in Carter Hall in the University Center, on October 23, 2008 at 7 p.m.  The Fall Lecture is open for anyone to attend.
