Who's Who Among Students
in American Universities and Colleges
Description of the
Award
The University of Southern Indiana participates in the Who's Who Among Students
in American Universities and Colleges program. This national program
honors outstanding students on campuses all across the country. The USI
selection committee, composed of faculty, staff, and students, evaluates each
applicant on scholarship ability, participation, leadership in academic and
extracurricular activities, citizenship, service to USI, and potential for
future achievements.
Eligibility criteria for 2008
- Student must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at USI.
- Student must have 60 or more credits (Junior/Senior/Graduate Student Status) as of the completion
of the Summer 2007 session.
Nominations -
Due October 12, 2007
We
invite faculty, staff and student organizations to nominate students that are deserving of this honor. Nominated students receive an
application with a cover letter stating who nominated him or her.
Nominations are now closed. Thank you for all those who nominated someone!
Applications
- Available October 12, 2007 and Due October 31, 2007
Students interested in applying for Who's Who Among Students in American Universities
and Colleges must fill out the Who's Who Application by October 31, 2007. Students do not
need to be nominated to apply for this award.

Recognition of Award
Students selected to receive the award will be notified by January 2008 and
will receive formal recognition at the Student Leadership Awards and
Recognition program in April.
