When a major’s daughter discovers an enemy soldier hiding in her bedroom after a local battle, she takes pity on him and tries to help him escape. But not so fast: it appears the charming soldier is not so easy to be rid of after all. In fact, he seems to be here to stay! An intelligent and romantic comedy fashioned with some of the wittiest dialogue ever heard in the English speaking theatre.
