43rd Annual University of Southern Indiana Juried Student Art Exhibition

USI art student paintings, wood and metal sculptures, graphic and interactive design work, illustrations, prints, furniture, ceramics works, jewelry, photographs, drawings and mixed media artworks are on display at the Kenneth P. McCutchan Art Center/Palmina F. and Stephen S. Pace Galleries April 1 - May 5, 2013.

161 artworks were selected for the 43rd Annual Juried USI Student Art Exhibition from over 350 pieces entered by this year's juror, Josh White, the Executive Director of the Yeiser Art Center in Paducah, Kentucky. The public is cordially invited to visit the exhibit. The Art Center is located on the lower level of the Liberal Arts Center and is open Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and on Sunday, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Over $7000 in awards and scholarships were announced at the artists' reception for the 43rd Annual USI Juried Student Art Exhibition on Sunday, April 7. 36 merit awards, scholarships and purchase awards were presented, generously donated by art alumni and faculty, community art patrons, businesses and corporations.

The $750 top award, BEST OF SHOW, went to junior Matt Perez for his large-scale mixed media sculpture, Yim Yeti. Other awardees and their artworks are:
