Life-long Evansville resident Kenneth P. McCutchan collected works of art by Indiana artists for over 40 years.
The majority of the 260 works in the McCutchan Collection are by the Hoosier Group - Indiana Impressionist painters working in the late 19th and early 20th centuries primarily known for their Indiana landscapes.
McCutchan also collected the work of his contemporaries, especially artists working in Evansville and tri-state area from the 1950s through the early 70s.
A third facet of McCutchan's collection is work by younger Indiana artists, including many USI faculty, alumni, and students.
