Scholarships and Awards

Through scholarships, loans, grants, and work-study programs, the University of Southern Indiana assists qualified undergraduate students. Renewable for four years, Art Portfolio Scholarships of $500-$1,500 are awarded to eight to 12 entering freshmen art majors based on the quality of their artwork. The Bronstein Art Scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman. The four-year award grants $1,000 annually to a person with high creative potential. The Society for Arts and Humanities provides an annual $1,500 scholarship to an incoming freshman with strong skills in the arts or humanities. Elizabeth Zutt Scholarships award $5,000 to $7,000 annually to qualified students for travel expenses within the United States and abroad. Additionally, a growing number of awards are becoming available to continuing students who demonstrate academic and creative achievement within their area of study.
