Brett Anderson, MFA, Printmaking

Brett Anderson is an Assistant Professor in the Department or Art, teaching all levels of Printmaking and foundation level drawing and design classes for the department. Brett received his BFA from the University of Missouri, Columbia and his Master of Fine Arts from the University of South Dakota in 2002.

He has had solo exhibitions at college and community galleries in Oregon, Arizona, California, Nebraska, and South Dakota and participated in over 60 group exhibitions in the past 5 years. His work has been shown at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha, The Contemporary Art Museum of Saint Louis, and The South Dakota Art Museum among many venues throughout the United States. Recently, Brett has been a visiting artist at California State University, Fresno and an instructor at Frogman’s Print & Paper Workshop in Vermillion, South Dakota.
