Betty Hart, who has taught at the University of Southern Indiana since 1991, researches computer assisted writing and ethnic literature. She received her degrees from Howard University (B.S. 1972) and West Virginia University (M.A. 1975 and Ph. D. 1990). She is currently "fine-tuning" her distance education courseware and Internet sites. Aside from experiencing the joy of teaching the gifted students of USI, Dr. Hart likes writing fiction and essays and scoring baseball games. Her favorite color is green, and her favorite state is West Virginia. And as long as the Yankees are winning, they are her favorite team. Her idea of success is being professionally famous for outstanding research and teaching and owning a powerful, state-of-the-art computer system.
