Dr. Hart, who has taught at the University of Southern Indiana since 1991,
researches computer assisted writing and ethnic literature. She
received her degrees from Howard University (B.S. 1972) and West Virginia
University (M.A. 1975 and Ph. D. 1990). She is currently researching
the life and literature of Zora Neale Hurston with the hopes of completing a
screen play based on her life and autobiography. Aside from experiencing the joy of teaching the gifted students of USI, Dr. Hart likes writing fiction, fishing, and scoring baseball games. Her favorite color is green, and her favorite state is West Virginia. And as long as the Yankees are winning, they are her favorite team. Lately, the Yanks have fallen upon hard times, however. |
