A native of Evansville, Randy Pease earned a B.S. in journalism from the University of Evansville in 1977. After several years in the newspaper business in Oklahoma, he returned to school at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and earned his master’s degree in communication arts. He has taught English, speech, and journalism, and he has worked as a staff writer and copy editor for several Oklahoma dailies. In 1996, he returned to his hometown and began teaching English part-time at the University of Southern Indiana. An accomplished songwriter, he has two CDs to his credit, Call Me Ishmael (1997) and Sometimes the Moon (2003). He plays frequently in acoustic venues in and around Evansville.

In his spare time, Randy likes to travel, ride his bicycle, read, surf the Internet, and of course, pick the guitar.
