Instructor of English

I joined USI’s faculty in August 2006 after spending many wonderful years living in Chicago, working as a grant writer and teaching English at the City Colleges.  I hold an M.A. in English from DePaul University, with a focus on Multicultural Ethnic Literature.

My interests include Native American, Post-Modern African-American, and 20th Century American Literatures, and the Beat Generation.

At USI, I have taught Rhetoric & Composition I and II, Humanities 211 and 212, and Introduction to Literature.
