The Prank Well you see it all started when Alan had to turn nineteen. If it had not been for that, this wonderful night would never have happened. You see we all thought it would be funny to play this little prank on him for his birthday, just to show that we cared! Here is what happened on this night we made in history. Alan’s roommates decided that they would steal his bed. So our RA and mentors helped them, they broke down the bed and took it to different rooms. They only left the poor guy one of his pillows and his covers. They were going to send him on a scavenger hunt to find the clues to where his bed was. The only thing about that is the only part of his bed he would have found would have been his other pillow. He was to do this while wearing a dress, which I will tell you about later, and make-up. After they finished writing the clues and placing them where they went, Don came to my room and was wondering if we had a nightgown that he could borrow. Well this made me curious as to what was going on, and I was thinking why on earth would a guy need a girl’s nightgown. So he let me in on the secret. My roommates and I went to the Goodwill store and bought a ladies nightgown for him. We were all sitting in his room talking when guess who walks in, Alan! Of course, our plan was then ruined so they decided we would get someone new. Well our little prank was not taken to well by the next person they chose. Ryan did not think that it was a good joke and wanted to move out of the dorm. Some of us felt really bad about this. So those who actually cared that he was upset, tried to apologized to him. After our prank did not work on Ryan we decided that we would all go to Don’s room to talk and hang out. After being there for a few moments Don decides that he paid three dollars and fifteen cents for this gown, so he is going to wear it. Well this is where the story gets rather funny. I looked around after he gets the gown on and said, “Guys, he has on the gown!” I tackled Don and then everyone else decided to help out. We had him down on the ground putting make-up on him. While I was doing the make-up someone was taking pictures and duck-taping him. Poor Don was duck-taped up and led out to a vehicle, where he was put in the back compartment, and Matt sat with him while some more pictures were taken. After everyone got into their cars, we drove up to the apartments where they knew some people. Alan went and got them to come out to look at Don. After that we made Don walk through the apartments in a nightgown, with make-up and completely duck-taped, so he could not get away. After about five minutes of walking in front of the cars with Matt, the security guard came. The guard was laughing and he told us that it was a good prank, but we had to unprank him. Don was mad at us, but then again while they were untaping him he was telling them not to rip the dress that he just bought. After we got back to the residence hall, we decided that we would duck-tape him to the light pole. Well, Don did not like that too much, so he got out of the car before anyone could stop him and then took off running to his room. Unfortunately, he made it to his room, instead of getting taped to the pole. That would have been a good one also! Now everyone is afraid to let anyone know when their birthday is, because they do not want their bed to disappear or for this to happen to them. I am glad to say that my birthday is over our winter or Christmas break. So I am hoping that they do not get an idea to get me early. |
