Two or more students per year usually receive stipends from the USI Foundation (French Scholarship Fund) that offset part of the cost of a summer immersion program in Quebec, for example. Every spring, the French Club gives a small stipend to a student who has excelled at second year French and plans to major in French. A senior student is also selected for the Academic Excellence in French prize.
