The Association of German Students (AGS)
The German club at USI offers the opportunity to make new
friends while participating in a variety of German-related
activities. Club events include a trip to the Cincinnati
Oktoberfest, trips to Amish and ethnic German restaurants in the
area, German film evenings, bake sales, a German "Stammtisch", and
Lebkuchenträume (a
Gingerbread house Contest with high school students).

Stammtisch
The "Stammtisch," or German language table, meets regularly in a local restaurant. Students of German, members of the community, and guests from German-speaking countries convene over pizza to converse in German. Conversation is at every level, beginning to advanced.
