Associate Professor of Spanish
Born and raised in Chile, Teresa Huerta obtained her B.A. in English from the Catholic University of Chile. Between 1980 and 1994, she earned two Master degrees from Purdue University, an M.S. in Foreign Language Education, and an M.A. in English Literature and Linguistics. In 1994, she graduated from Purdue with a Ph. D. in Comparative Literature. Teresa Huerta has published articles on Spanish and Spanish American literature in journals such as Chasqui, Hispania, and Romance Language Annual. She is married, the mother of four.
