Professor of Spanish
Guillermo Latorre is originally from Chile. He holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics and Literature from Purdue University and is the author and co-author of numerous articles published in Chile, Colombia, England, Germany, South Africa, and the United States.
His research interests include the syntax of Spanish and the structure of political discourse. Currently he is investigating the essay in nineteenth-century Chile.
He loves swimming in the sea, soccer, and poetry in three languages. He also loves cats; hates dogs.
