Cognitive Psychology Syllabus

--not really a syllabus yet, but it does list the texts you'll need.

PSY 425  The study of how the human mind processes information.  Topics include models of memory, categorization, concept formation, creativity, and imagery with emphasis on language comprehension and problem solving.  Prereq: PSY 201 plus nine additional hours in psychology.

This is a 3 hour course offered every spring.  Note for those of you in the DE version this summer: you will have to meet all the same requirements.  This class works very well if you're able to schedule your own time.  I lose about 1/3 of those in these sections.  You will need to be online working more than what a regular class would entail - you'll have your class time plus study time just like any other class.  Presentations are done so that it is as if you're watching a Powerpoint slideshow but can hear my voice explaining things. You can pause the presentations, but you need to be online to watch/listen to them.  Schedule your time!!!  Due dates are specific.  Work may be turned in early, but will not be accepted late.  All work is done via Blackboard.
